We ain’t done with 2021 just yet, this week on CinemaJaw we take our final dive into the year of film past before the Oscars as we cover our Top 5 Performances of 2021.

Sure, we could bow to the echo chamber and get a guest with taste identical to our own, or we could book one whose taste is diametrically opposed (for the most part). Even though we rarely agree with Pamela Powell, she remains one of our favorite critics, a tremendous writer, an outspoken voice for film, and a good friend to boot!

With a focus on women in film, Pamela also gravitates toward films that are eye-opening, educational, and entertaining with the hopes of making this world a better place. Pamela has raised her two now-grown children, travels to film festivals around the world. So you might bump into her if your local fest is a big one, or read, listen, watch Pam at Reel Talk with Chuck and Pam.
