Each month on CinemaJaw, we celebrate a particular actor, director, filmmaker, genre, studio, or some aspect of film.

Way back in June (bit late on this one) 2020 we celebrated Spike Lee  – Spike had been on a roll in the 90’s having already delivered several of his most well-known films such as Do the Right Thing, Jungle Fever, Mo’ Better Blues, and Malcolm X.  In 1995 he took over directing reigns from Martin Scorsese on an adaptation of a Richard Price novel, Clockers. The movie Clockers might have snuck below a lot of radars… should it have? Here is our Retro Review!
