Sometimes we think Matt K. and Ry the Movie Guy must be from another planet. Certainly they are not from the SAME planet. That much we know for sure. Aliens are often portrayed as friendly or benevolent bringers of technology and piece, but just if not more often they are portrayed as snarling beasts who feast on human flesh. Ryan Fox is known for taping GoPros to the tires of his car, and for staring into a camera for two hours straight. His latest short is about a man with a giant thumb for a head and the misadventures thereof. It’s fair to say that Mr. Fox knows a thing or two about what is strange and alien and even scary.
