It’s a living thing… It breathes, it eats, it hates… And the only way to beat it is to think like it. The only way to beat it… is to love it a little. If that fantastic Robert De Niro quote wasn’t enough of a clue to all you pyromaniacs out there, this week on CinemaJaw we are covering our favorite Fire Scenes!
The reason for the topic is the man of the hour. Joe Minoso plays the character, Joe Cruz, mainly on hit NBC tv show Chicago Fire, but you can see the character on some of the other shows in the shared universe as well. If you live in Chicago you have been touched in some way by the production of the “Chicago TV Franchise” which includes shows like Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D., Chicago Med, and Chicago Justice. If you live here, or even if you are just visiting chances are quite good at bumping into a scene being filmed, or production trailers parked on the side roads. The series can be thanked for bringing some major film productions to the city by being a foundational brick in the building of our great Chicago studio, CineSpace. In addition to Chicago Fire, Joe is currently is staring a short film out on Amazon Prime entitled Alonso the Dream and the Call, which you can watch right now free (for Prime members- and who isn’t?).
Burn, baby, burn! It’s a Cinema Inferno!
Don’t melt your earbuds!!!
