It\u2019s shaping up to be a beautiful spring in Chicago and Ryan and I have a NEED FOR SPEED!!! And, yes, that is a movie pun because we\u2019re talking about Keanu Reeve\u2019s 1994 masterpiece Speed!! To start our spring off, we\u2019re kicking it to you all with a retro review complete with Homer J. Simpson first ever CinemaJaw appearance.<\/p>\n

And if you think watching 30-year-old movies is the only way we\u2019re welcoming in the fairest of the seasons, then you are dead wrong! We\u2019re also coming in hot and heavy with our annual Summer Movie Preview episode, which for a stacked year like 2026, that was no easy task to do.<\/p>\n

Plus, we\u2019ve got two more reviews coming out at ya! Ryan got out and checked out Mother Mary – Anne Hathaway\u2019s new flick about\u2026 well\u2026 that\u2019s confusing to say. Let\u2019s just say it\u2019s about a pop star, and the music and visuals are truly something to behold. Plus, Adam Scott, president of the the \u201cTwo First Namers In Movies\u201d association, has a new horror film called Hokum out. You already know Ryan checked this one out too.<\/p>\n

We had a ball recording this one and we think you\u2019re gonna love the listen!! And you better believe we\u2019re gonna catch ya at the Music Box for the Chicago Critics Film Festival this weekend, right??<\/p>\n
