Guy Richie brings the popular 1960s television show about the cold war to the big screen in style. The British director has been accused of putting style above substance in some of his past films. In The Man From Uncle, I think he got it just right. The setup may be better than the payoff, but I found the journey to be fun, exciting and very entertaining. With Mad Men coming to an end earlier in the year I needed my 1960’s fix and I got it here. Uncle is filled with style, humor, action and just enough plot to give this one an easy recommend.
