Reviewed:Wildwood, Wild Horse Nine, Your Mother Your Mother Your Mother
SPECIAL: CIFF Final Recap
Monthly Theme: Godzilla
Ayoooooo!! Get ready for the Wild Mahershala Ali extravaganza here on CinemaJaw. This week, we’re living it up with a Review-O-Rama that has not one, but TWO themes!! It’s a week of wild movies and a week of movies starring Mahershala Ali; all at the same time.
First up is Wildwood – the new stop-motion flick from Laika Studios, aka the makers of Coraline. And spoiler alert: Mahershala Ali is in Wildwood. We’re also reviewing Wild Horse Nine with Malkovich and Sam Rockwell. A funny little flick set on Easter Island. And to close it all out, we’ve got one more review for you guys. Ryan and KP went and saw Your Mother Your Mother Your Mother… which is not only *not* a typo, but also stars this guy you may have heard of called MAHERSHALA ALI.
I mentioned it last week, and I’m standing by it – we have gone to plaid with our fall movies here on The Jaw. And on top of a stellar Review-O-Rama, we’ve got our last update on the Chicago International Film Fest. Some last minute catches you won’t want to miss our thoughts on!
Lot going on in this one, and it’s always a good time on CinemaJaw!
Love you all,
-KP
