Reviewed: Backrooms, Passengers, Pressure, I Love Boosters
Monthly Theme: Steven Spielberg
Take a left. Now a right. This time go forward. Turn around. Then take the door three doors to the left of the one you came in from. Perfect. Follow this hallway down until it forks. Then, instead of going left or right, look up actually. There’s a pull cord to a square in the ceiling like an attic has. Go up there…
Oh. Sorry guys. I didn’t see you there. I was just giving my friend directions on where to find a review of the newest horror movie, Backrooms… don’t worry – I actually don’t like that friend very much so I gave them bogus directions. The real way is to turn left until you find your nearest chair and kick back, pop in your AirPods, and listen to this episode of CinemaJaw!
And, if you couldn’t tell I hate this particular friend enough, you should know that I’m guiding you to even more than just a review of Backrooms!!
It’s a Review-O-Rama this week on CinemaJaw, and we’ve also got reviews of Passengers – another horror movie, this time about hitchhikers, Brendan Fraser’s WWII historical flick Pressure, and Boot’s Riley’s I Love Boosters.
Plus, if that wasn’t enough; if your insatiable lust for movie reviews is still yet to be satisfied, we even have a bonus Retro Review of Working Girl. We missed it for Sigourney Weaver month by just one day, and we figured we’d make sure we’re no later than that.
This is a fun one you guys!! With all these reviews, there’s something for everybody.
Love,
-KP
