Now Streamin on Egen.Tv

Ok, Let’s get this out of the way… For the next few episodes at least, and possibly permanently, we are now recording LIVE before CAMERAS on EGen.Tv. This is episode is our first one in the new(?) space and there will be some growing pains. That being said, we think this episode turned out just perfect. We would VERY MUCH like to get your feedback on these next several episodes. What do you like, what could we do different or better, etc. Please do that by contacting us at MattAndRy[at]CinemaJaw[dot]com. We also hope you like looking at our ugly mugs. You can now watch CinemaJaw LIVE every Tuesday night at 8:30pm Chicago time at THIS LINK! Log in for free and tell us how our hair looks! We will also have links to downloadable video episodes SOON!

So in honor of our television debut, and 21 Jump Street coming up in theaters we decided we would take a look at The Best Movies Based on TV Shows. Who better to join us with all this new stuff going on than our go-to guy, Mr. Charles Klein! Its great to have Chuck on again as we forge ahead into new territory. Of course no CinemaJaw would be complete without CinemaWAR, I for an I, Hollywood Headlines, The CinemaJaw Movie Fact, and a whole lot of news and reviews! We even go Salmon Fishing in the Yemen, or some such nonsense. Its JAWTASTIC!

Goodbye 2011!

This is our last CinemaJaw of 2011! It is hard for us to believe that another year has come and gone, but alas… it sure has. 2011 was a good year, we believe, with some pretty memorable highlights. We had natural disasters and also great discoveries. We lost memorable people and no doubt gained some promising new ones. We had ups and downs and all-arounds, but most importantly (to this podcast) we had some GREAT movies in 2011! We knew that we needed to go out on a highnote and get a guest that really knows his stuff.

Enter: Matt Pais, Entertainment Reporter for the Chicago RedEye and a Chicago film critic through and through! Matt has been on the scene for a long time and is jus the wxpert that we needed to hlep wrap up this roller coaster of a year and put it into perspective. You can hear Matt P. with Ry The Movie Guy and Matt K. on all your favorite segments this week. Including: I for an I, CinemaWAR!, Guest vs. Host Trivia, Hollywood Headlines and a whole lot more. We wish you Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year!

CinemaJaw is planning something very special for it’s upcoming 100th Episode!

Up Up, Down Down, Left Right, Left Right, B, A, B, A, SELECT, START

If you understand the Konami code then this episode is for you. Hell, even if you have no idea what I just said… this episode is for you. The fact of the matter is, ladies and gentlemen, that ALL CinemaJaw episodes are for EVERYONE and this, my friends, is no exception.

There are only 40 or so accredited Film Critics (notice the capital letters) here in Chicago. Only 40 out of 2.8 million people, and we managed to snag one. Adam Fendelman is the founder and publisher of HollywoodChicago a full service website that does the trifecta of movie reviews, interviews, and news (thankfully not podcasts!), and a whole lot more. Its a really great site for movie and pop culture lovers everywhere! Besides being a professional writer and film critic, founder of a successful website and whatnot, Adam somehow finds time to play video games AND join the boys on CinemaJaw to discuss: The Best Video Game Movies of All Time!

Also this episode is the last time anyone will talk about Harry Potter ever… until the next time they do. Adam and the boys turn in their thoughts on the final instalment in the franchise of the Boy Who Lived. Not to mention the continuation of CinemaWAR!, I for an I, Hollywood Headlines, Guest vs. Host trivia and a whole lot more. This show just ate some mushrooms and got SUPER, Mario. Your Princess is in THIS castle. Cheers!
